Features

Syringa meyeri 'Palibin' is known as Meyer lilac and is a popular shrub for its clusters of fragrant, pale lavender-pink flowers and attractive, small foliage. This dwarf variety blooms prolifically in late spring to early summer, growing to a height and spread of 4 to 5 feet. It is a lovely addition to any landscape, especially in smaller gardens, borders, or as a focal point in mixed shrub plantings.

What is the average size of a ?

4-6 feet in both height and width can be expected from Syringa meyeri 'Palibin'.

Planting a

Prepare the planting site by digging a hole that is twice as wide and equal in depth to the root ball of your Syringa meyeri 'Palibin'. Make sure to loosen the soil at the bottom and sides to promote root growth. Carefully remove the shrub from its container and gently untangle any circling roots. Place it in the center of the hole, at the same level as it was in the container. Fill the hole with soil, gently packing it around the roots to eliminate any air pockets. Water thoroughly to settle the soil and maintain consistent moisture, especially during the first growing season. Apply a layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and regulate soil temperature. Keep the mulch away from the main stem for proper airflow.
