To ensure optimal drainage, amend heavy or compacted soil with sand or perlite. Enrich the soil with organic matter such as compost. In spring or early summer, plant Sedum 'Sunsparkler® Dazzleberry' once the soil has warmed up. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball and gently firm the soil around the roots. Place the plant at or slightly above the soil level. To help establish roots, thoroughly water newly planted sedums. Once established, water sparingly as they are drought-tolerant. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings to avoid overwatering.
