Planting a

Before planting, add compost or well-rotted organic matter to the soil to improve drainage and fertility. Sedums can tolerate various soil types but prefer slightly alkaline soil. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball and gently firm the soil around the roots of the plant. Plant the sedum with the crown at or slightly above the soil level. If planting multiple Sedum 'Lemon Ball' plants, space them 12 to 18 inches apart for optimal air circulation and growth. Thoroughly water newly planted sedums to settle the soil, then water only when the soil is dry to the touch. Once established, Sedum 'Lemon Ball' is drought tolerant and requires minimal watering.
